Radiator, Engine Cooling: Removal
- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
- Drain the cooling system. Refer to DRAINING

- Disconnect the lower radiator hose (1).
- Remove the cooling fan. Refer to REMOVAL
.NOTE:
The transmission oil cooler lines do not need to be disconnected.
- Remove the bolts (1) and position aside the transmission cooler (2).
- Disconnect the A/C pressure switch wire harness connector.
- Remove the bolt (1) securing the A/C line to the radiator.
- Remove the nut (1) securing the A/C discharge and liquid line junction block to the bracket (2).
- Remove the four bolts (1) securing the condenser to the radiator and position aside the condenser.
- Remove the two bolts (3) and the upper left side radiator mount cover (4).
- Remove the two bolts (2) and the upper right side radiator mount cover (1).
- Pull the radiator forward releasing the isolators (1) from the mount and remove the radiator (2).
