Removal And Installation: Installation

  1. Install the flexplate (1).
  2. Install the washer (2).
  3. Install NEW  flexplate bolts (3) and tighten in a criss-cross pattern to the proper torque specifications. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
    CAUTION:

    Do not use an impact socket or a thick walled socket when removing or installing the flexplate retaining bolts, damage to the crankshaft, internal engine or the transmission may occur.

  4. Install the transmission. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
