3-Way Solenoid Valves

  1. Unplug connector from A/C solenoid valve. Ground Black/Red terminal and apply battery voltage to Black/White terminal. With power applied, solenoid valve should be open.
  2. Unplug connector from power steering solenoid valve. Ground Green/Red terminal and apply 12V to Black/White terminal. Solenoid valve should be open. See Figure .

  3. Throttle positioner solenoid should be open to manifold vacuum signal. Replace if positioner does not respond correctly.
