Keyless Receiver Inspection: Notes

Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
Remove the following parts:
1. Trunk board (See TRUNK BOARD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
2. Bass box (With Bose ®) (See BASS-BOX REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
3. Sub-trunk (See SUB-TRUNK REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
4. Trunk end trim (See TRUNK END TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
5. Trunk side trim (RH) (See TRUNK SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Remove the keyless receiver with the connector still connected. (See KEYLESS RECEIVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Connect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
Verify that the voltages of each of the terminals are as indicated in the terminal voltage table (reference).

If the voltage is not as specified in the terminal voltage table (reference), inspect the parts under Inspection item(s) and related wiring harnesses.

If the system does not operate normally even though the parts under Inspection Item(s) and related wiring harnesses do not have any malfunction, replace the keyless receiver.
