Coding Transmitter

NOTE: Any transmitter(s) that are previously matched, will be erased when receiver is in programming mode.

NOTE: Do the following procedure whenever the data encoder connector is grounded, the keyless entry module is replaced, the remote transmitter is replaced or a second transmitter is added.

Jumper the data encoder connector to ground (all power door locks will lock and unlock). Data encoder connector is located in right side of luggage compartment. See Fig 1 .

Operate the transmitter by pressing a single button once.
To program for a second portable transmitter, operate transmitter 2 by pressing a single button once. In order for programming to be complete, wait after each button is pressed for the locks to fully cycle.
Disconnect data encoder jumper connector after locks have finished cycling.
Verify that the portable transmitter(s) operate door lock and trunk release.
