Fuel Lid Lock Control: Replacement

HINT:

A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt table (see SPECIFIED TORQUE FOR STANDARD BOLTS ).

1. REMOVE FUEL LID LOCK OPEN LEVER SUB-ASSY 
   1. Remove the front seat (see OVERHAUL ).
   2. Remove the rear seat (see OVERHAUL ).
   3. Remove the center pillar garnish lower .
   4. Remove the quarter trim panel lower .
   5. Remove the quarter trim panel upper .
   6. Remove the screw and fuel lever.
   7. Remove the cable.

2. REMOVE FUEL LID LOCK CONTROL CABLE SUB-ASSY 
   1. Remove the cable from the clamps at the location shown in Fig 2 .

   2. Disengage the claw and remove the cable.

3. REMOVE FUEL FILLER OPENING LID LOCK RETAINER 
   1. Remove the fuel filler opening lock retainer, as shown in Fig 4 .

4. INSTALL FUEL FILLER OPENING LID LOCK RETAINER 
   1. Install the fuel filler opening lock retainer, as shown in Fig 5 .

5. INSTALL FUEL LID LOCK OPEN LEVER SUB-ASSY 
   1. Install the cable.
   2. Install the lever with the screw.
   3. Install the quarter trim panel upper .
   4. Install the quarter trim panel lower .
   5. Install the center pillar garnish lower .
   6. Install the rear seat (see OVERHAUL ).
   7. Install the front seat (see OVERHAUL ).
