Rear Kinematic Toe-In

  1. Check and adjust kinematic toe-in only if rear camber has been corrected. Remove cover for access to rear spring arm. Install Front Special Tool (9549) on rear lower control arm and Rear Special Tool (9550) on rear spring arm. See Fig 1 .
  2. Read and record bubble level position on both special tools. Read upper scale on rear special tool for left rear, and lower scale for right rear. Loosen kinematic toe-in eccentric nut. See Figure . Turn eccentric until bubble level readings on both special tools are within 1.5 scale units of each other. Tighten eccentric nut to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  . Ensure rear camber remains within specification.
